Terms of Use

These terms govern the CutWise iOS app and website, created by Sansavision. By using CutWise you agree to them.

What CutWise is

CutWise is a consultation aid. It shows visualizations of possible hair and makeup looks. Results are illustrative: a stylist or product may not reproduce an image exactly. CutWise is not medical advice or a professional color prescription.

Subscriptions and credit packs

You can browse and complete one hair try-on free. Further hair try-ons and generated makeup previews use credits. A subscription includes 40 credits per calendar month, shared by hair and makeup. Monthly included credits reset at the start of each calendar month. Yearly and Monthly are billed immediately at the price shown by Apple; neither plan includes an introductory trial. Subscriptions auto-renew unless you cancel in Apple Settings at least 24 hours before the current period ends.

You may also buy a one-time pack of 10, 50, or 100 credits at the price Apple shows before purchase. Purchased credits do not expire and can be used without a subscription. We use monthly included credits before purchased credits. Each completed preview uses one credit; a failed render is refunded. Credit balances can be restored for the same Apple Account without a CutWise account.

Your photos

You must only upload photos of yourself, or photos you have the right to use. Do not upload another person's image to impersonate them. Inspiration photos are processed for private personal use and are not added to the public catalog.

Accounts

No account is needed or offered in this version. Look history stays on your iPhone. Earlier beta accounts can be deleted in Settings while signed in.

Acceptable use

Do not abuse free-try limits, attempt to reverse engineer FaceLock, or upload illegal or non-consensual imagery. We may refuse or remove jobs that fail safety checks.
